The evening will feature a presentation by Rachel Langgin from UNLV’s Department of Physics and Astronomy, a guided constellation tour, and the chance to observe the night sky through multiple telescopes. The event is supported by organizations including the Las Vegas Astronomical Society, The Brett Torino Foundation, Dark Sky International, and UNLV. Registration is required per vehicle, allowing up to five guests per ticket.

On June 29, 2025, Nye County will mark the fifth anniversary of Pahrump PROUD, a local celebration originally founded by Jim McCoy and supported by Craig Bohannon and James Davis as one of the region’s first annual National Pride Month events. Now rebranded as Pahrump PRIDE in collaboration with the Southern Nevada Association of PRIDE, Inc., the event will continue its tradition of bringing together community partners, artists, entertainers, and social groups. Held at the Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino from 10 am to 5 pm, the celebration typically welcomes 200 to 300 attendees and features over thirty vendors, civic organizations, and performances throughout the day, fostering an atmosphere of fun, inclusion, and community engagement.
