2025 Las Vegas Strip (Run/Walk)
Running the Channel is excited to host its 6th run/walk event at Channel Partners Las Vegas 2025! This is a free and fun way to network around a common passion for running and walking and it's open to everyone. Running the Channel will provide water, nutrition, pacesetters, a free t-shirt, and a picture at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. We have two routes to accommodate all levels: a 5-mile route and 3-mile route. We will meet in the lobby of the Venetian and both routes will start by heading south (left) down Las Vegas Blvd; the 3-mile route will turn around at Tropicana Ave (near New York New York and MGM), while the 5-mile route will turn around at the famous Welcome to Las Vegas diamond sign for pictures. After the turn around all participants will head back north, returning to the Venetian Lobby.

River Mountains Loop Trail Cleanup
Give back to the outdoors and help keep our trails beautiful at the annual River Mountains Loop Trail Cleanup! Join fellow community members in preserving one of our most scenic outdoor spaces. Orientation runs from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with transportation provided from the park to the trail. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a hat, water, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, and gloves. Youth ages 5-12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, while teens ages 13-17 need a signed waiver. Let’s work together to keep the River Mountains Loop Trail clean and beautiful for everyone. Registration is required!
Spring Plant Sale
Spruce up your outdoor living areas with the perfect desert-adapted plants at the Springs Preserve Spring Plant Sale. This event offers a variety of plants ranging from small 2-inch starters to larger 5-gallon species, ideal for the Vegas climate. Springs Preserve garden experts will be on hand to provide tips and answer any gardening questions you might have. Admission to the plant sale is free, but there are entry fees to the preserve: $9.95 for Nevada residents (adults), $4.95 for children (ages 3-17), and $18.95 for non-residents (adults). Children under 2 get in for free, and discounts for seniors and military are available upon request with valid ID. Don’t forget to bring a wagon or cart for easy transport of your new plants!
